Cat Chat

History 

For a few years now, Tullulluh the cat has been the only inhabitant free to roam Backridge Farm. That changed 3 years ago when she discovered the Backridge Elves busily working away at night in the back of the Christmas Barn. Each elf had their own character, their own outfits and, as Tullullah soon discovered, they also had their very own special part to play in the preparation and delivery of Christmas Toys and Gifts. The Elves’ favourite shop was Wish Gifts which was next to the Christmas Barn.  They used the shop to get their ideas for toys that they knew children would love and that Santa Claus would love to make for them.

Two years ago Tullulluh allowed the Elves to be introduced to the children and visitors of Wish Gifts.  We say introduced, they are by nature very shy and so have rarely been seen. However, evidence of the Elves is very apparant as they are messy little monkeys and are always leaving their clothes strewn around the Barn after a hard night’s work. Children can visit and learn about the Elves’ likes, dislikes, responsibilities as Santa Claus’ little helpers and of course, their names.
